the lake house!

hello people!!

okay 8th of august which is national day eve is prolly going to be a half day! cuz we're going to have celebrations! (edward's emceeing! haha) yeah! so we should go out for a class movie! i mean it's been a long time since we went for a class movie! the first one was uh ice age 2? there was bout 1/3 or less of the class i think. ): the second time was superman returns! well not exactly a class thing, since we didn't plan it before hand. we just felt like watching so we just zhammed the cinema hahaha! okay that's not my point. my point is this:
LET'S GO WATCH THE LAKE HOUSE TOGETHER!!

yeapyeap! i shall tell you guys what the lake house is about! saves us the trouble of saying it ALL OVER again. it's quite long a story to tell. hahaha.

STORYLINE:
okay this girl (sandra bullock) was staying in the lake house. but then she decided to change her life so she left the lake house but she left a letter to the next tenant of the lake house! She asks the next tenant to forward her mail and noting that the inexplicable painted paw prints he might notice by the front door were there when she moved in. BUT! when the next tenant (keanu reeves) arrives, he sees no paw print! and the lake house is badly neglected, it's like no one has lived there before.
then one day while he was painting the jetty, he sees a stray dog run across the fresh paint and left the paw print at the exact spot that the girl said they would be! so he decided to write back!
he wrote that there was no occupant before him and wondered how she knew about the dog. the girl thought it was some kind of joke so she fired back a reply:

just for argument's sake, what day is it there?

can this be happening?

then they continued exchanging letters and they FELL IN LOVE! hahahaha!
determined to unravel the mystery between their extraordinary connection, they tempt fate by arranging to meet. but, by trying to join their two separate worlds, they could risk losing each other forever.

so sweet! and so sob-able! (somehow i can already hear the guys groaning)
but it's okay! just watch together with the girls! cuz a lot of us wanna watch it! haha! popular demand!

SAJC song-writing competition

My team of Chee Yang and I just got into the top 4 of the competition yesterday. Finals will be on 17th August 2006 (Thursday) in the evening.

URGENT!!!

Some Updates:

1) Kai Han says that Bio Prac needs to be handed in tomorrow! SO must do!!!
2) Ms Selva won't be there tomorrow.. but during GP lesson we need to go Lt or something.. to join another class i suppose...
3) Ms Deilys is involved in the Scholarship day.. so Econs Tut is cancelled! School will end at 3!
4) During racial harmony day.. got food fair.. and we CAN set up a food stall, preferably traditional food or services.. participating classes get to keep their own profits.. but participation is not compulsory and since it is not compulsory and we are all so busy and we will probably make a loss anyway.. i will propose that we don't set up.. haha.. tell me if you have any disagreements!
5)There is also the best dressed class competition in ethnic costumes of course.. BUT at least 10 ppl must dress up in order to qualify.. and got $80 vouchers to be won!! so.. tell me if you all think we should go for it!
6) LEAP is sex ed on 22/7.. think is halfday.. and public speaking on 5/8.. this one is whole day.. not sure if 9-5 or 8-5.. will double check again!
7) Blood donation drive is on tue! if u wanna donate.. forms are somewhere at the class bench.. either tt or its with Qiwen.. hahha..
8) Lastly! Jiayou Amanda and Ma Jun!!! yay.. finals on Wed! ahhaha... (:

i noe dis is lyk kinda slow.. block test alr over for most of us since fri.. n today is sunday.. now den i blog.. but aniwaes.. congrats to everyone for havin gone thru our FIRST block test!! *cheers!*
