Letter to Dad

A father passing by his teenage daughter's bedroom was astonished to see the bed was nicely made and everything was neat and tidy. Then he saw an envelope propped up prominently on the centre of the pillow. It was addressed "Dad". With the worst premonition, he opened the envelope and read the letter with trembling hands:- Dear Dad, It is with great regret and sorrow that I'm writing you, but I'm leaving home. I had to elope with my new boyfriend Randy because I wanted to avoid a scene with Mom and you.I've been finding real passion with Randy and he is so nice to me. I know when you meet him you'll like him too - even with all his piercing, tattoos, and motorcycle clothes. But it's not only the passion Dad, I'm pregnant and Randy said that he wants me to have the kid and that we can be very happy together. Even though Randy is much older than me (anyway, 42 isn't so old these days is it?), and has no money, really these things shouldn't stand in the way of our relationship, don't you agree? Randy has a great CD collection; he already owns a trailer in the woods and has a stack of firewood for the whole winter.
It's true he has other girlfriends as well but I know he'll be faithful to me in his own way. He wants to have many more children with me and that's now one of my dreams too. Randy t aught me that marijuana doesn't really hurt anyone and he'll be growing it for us and we'll trade it with our friends for all the cocaine and ecstasy we want. In the meantime, we'll pray that science will find a cure for AIDS so Randy can get better; he sure deserves it!! Don't worry Dad, I'm 15 years old now and I know how to take care of myself. Someday I'm sure we'll be back to visit so you can get to know your grandchildren. Your loving daughter, Rosie.
At the bottom of the page were the letters "PTO". Hands still trembling, her father turned the sheet, and read:

MSN Problems

Dear all,

Sorry for this lengthy post. There's still a fresh post by Weiwen regarding FoS below this, don't forget to read.

Having MSN trouble? This may help... it's a solution that is circulating over LJ and, ironically, MSN.

1. Run C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\DRIVERS\ETC\
(Meaning Start > Run > type the address and press OK)

2. Open the host file in notepad
(Double click > Open > select Notepad, press OK)
Please note that this file has no file extension like .txt. It's just "hosts".

3. Add these two lines to the end:
65.54.239.80 messenger.hotmail.com
65.54.239.80 dp.msnmessenger.akadns.net

(So your notepad will look something like this)

# Copyright (c) 1993-1999 Microsoft Corp.
#
# This is a sample HOSTS file used by Microsoft TCP/IP for Windows.

4. Save the file.
You should be able to save it without any alerts. But if you're prompted to specify the filename, make sure you say "hosts". That's hosts with two quotation marks.

5. Sign in to MSN and shake that sexy thang.

Hello everyone.. this is going to be a REALLY long post about the festival of sports.

Ok.. firstly, FOS will be from 4th to 6th October and our Fac heads have encouraged that we participate in everything cuz there's 40 fac point awarded PER game for participation, which is the same as the amout awarded for winning the game itself. So, yepp! let's take part as a class and have fun together after Promos!

Anyway, there are basically 7 inter CT competitions and 1 interfac. the inter fac one is the hulahoop comp and to form a team needs 2 guys and 2 girls. It;s like.. relay.. then after one drop the next one continues and the total time is taken. Please indicate if you're interested! and i'll help you all inform the sports rep.. cuz the team need not all be from one class.

Yupp then the other 7 inter CT games includes floorball(Jeana says its like hockey), basketball (Girls&Guys), ultimate frisbee ( i think it includes a frisbee), Street netball, table tennis, volleyball and street soccer! All these games are like.. street style.. so every game is like within 10 min.. so don't worry about it being too hoing.. ahha

Please think of what you want to participate in and what you can excel in! :) i'll be passing round a class list before school tomorrow.. and please indicate the THREE sports that you would like to participate in! Indicate also if you are on MC or will be unfit for physical activity.. ( as in really unfit) ahha.. yeahh.. then max number of games that everyone can actually participate in is TWO. after you have indicated your choices.. the games in charge will discuss and assign everyone their sport! but we'll try very hard to give you something that you chose! :)

OK.. next comes the number of people that is needed for each sport.

and if you are unsure about the games, please approach the game-in charge from our class, i'll pass the in charges the instructions to playing the games tomorrow morning! :)

Hi there!

Maybe FOS is kind of far with Promos like totally on our minds now, but will need 4 guys and 4 girls to be in charge, by the "orders" of the Fac Com ( some mysterious person sms me but i am guessing is ppl from Fac Com cos there was mention of something abt us winning so i assume its Apollo Fac Com ppl). Any volunteers of nominations?
